Dr Dhanushi Fernando is a compassionate and dedicated Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, providing comprehensive Women’s Healthcare, General Gynaecology, and Fertility services.

Dr Dhanushi Fernando has worked in Women’s Health care for over 12 years. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science through Monash University. She then became a board-certified Obstetrician & Gynaecologist through training at Monash Health and Royal Hobart Hospital. She then completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine and a Masters in Women’s Health through the University of New South Wales. Dr Dhanushi completed a further 3 years of specialist Reproductive Medicine training through Fellowships at Monash Health and The Royal Women’s Hospital, where she also helped commence the first public IVF services in Victoria.

As a Sri Lankan healthcare provider, Dr Dhanushi Fernando is able to speak Sinhalese as her second language and embraces a sensitive approach to those with specific cultural needs.
